The zips are super low profile to allow for better compressibility and less weight, at the top of the main zip is an ultra soft zipper garage to make sure your chin is comfortable at all times. There is micro grid fleece under the arms for increased breathability and wicking. Or, thanks to the Spiral stitch construction, you can push them up on warmer days without constricting your forearms or making them bag out. The cuffs have a discreet on the seam thumb loop so you can lock the sleeves in place when you're reaching those far away places. The R1 Pullover can be worn as a base layer, a mid layer or a lightweight outer. The grid fabric also means that this fleece packs down smaller than any other fleece of a similar weight, it enhances the already technical fit and feels great against the skin. Patagonia use a technical high/low grid material from Polartec® that stretches, breathes, wicks moisture and keeps you warm. A beautiful route, a rope, a rack and great friends, simple.
